I am a freelance writer with over 25 years experience, having written articles for newspapers,  magazines,  and blogs. I have written about people making their communities better, with articles on police-community workshops, neighborhood associations, marches and demonstrations, and interviews with people who make a difference in their communities and the world.

I am also a poet and fiction writer; my works have been published in such journals as Apiary, Poet’s Attic, Poet’s Page, Jewish Frontier, and the anthologies Meridian Bound and the Poetry Ink series. My poem “The Image of God” won an Honorable Mention in the 75th Annual Writer’s Digest Writing Competition. I have read my works at Robin’s Book Store/Moonstone Arts Center, Najee’s Loft, Painted Bride Art Center, Kelly Writers’ House at the University of Pennsylvania, Sedgwick Cultural Center, and Big Blue Marble Bookstore.

My volumes of poetry, Mutterings and Out Of The Box, has been published in, and is available through your local bookstore and on Amazon and Kindle. 

I am a member of the National Writers Union/Local 1981 of UAW, the Newspaper Guild of Greater Philadelphia, and the Pen and Pencil Club.
